Dr. Ricardo Santiago Santalo is an experienced clinical research professional and former Family Medicine Physician with more than 30 years of combined medical and clinical research experience. As a Clinical Research Coordinator at NewGen Health Group, he leverages his extensive medical background and operational expertise to support the successful execution of Phase II-IV clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. 

Prior to entering clinical research, Dr. Santiago practiced Family Medicine in Cuba for nearly two decades, providing comprehensive patient care and developing extensive experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Since transitioning into clinical research, he has served in leadership roles including Site Director, Lead Research Coordinator, Senior Clinical Research Coordinator, and Regulatory Specialist at several research organizations throughout South Florida. 

Dr. Santiago’s expertise spans patient recruitment, study coordination, regulatory compliance, laboratory operations, data management, decentralized clinical trials, and participant retention. His physician background provides valuable clinical insight when evaluating study participants, managing protocol requirements, and supporting investigators throughout the clinical trial process.
