Dr. Dayron Rodriguez is a board certified urologist with advanced fellowship training in sexual and reproductive medicine, female pelvic medicine, and reconstructive urology. He combines world class clinical expertise with an exceptional academic and research background, making him a highly accomplished physician and clinical investigator dedicated to advancing innovative therapies in urologic care.
Dr. Rodriguez graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience before earning both his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and a Master of Public Health in Quantitative Methods from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed his General Surgery internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a prestigious Urologic Surgery residency through the Harvard Urologic Surgery Program. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Boston University Medical Center and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, further expanding his expertise in complex reconstructive urology and men’s and women’s pelvic health.
Dr. Rodriguez currently practices with Urology Specialist Group and serves as a Principal Investigator at NewGen Health Group. He provides comprehensive care for patients with a broad range of urologic conditions, including kidney stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor disorders, sexual dysfunction, male infertility, and reconstructive urologic conditions. His advanced fellowship training allows him to offer highly specialized care using both minimally invasive and reconstructive surgical techniques.
An accomplished physician-scientist, Dr. Rodriguez has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific publications, contributed multiple textbook chapters, and presented extensively at national and international scientific meetings, including the American Urological Association (AUA), Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU), and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA). His research has advanced the understanding of urologic oncology, pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, kidney stone disease, prosthetic urology, men’s health, and reconstructive surgery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rodriguez is deeply committed to medical education. He has served as an Instructor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School, an attending urologic surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital, and currently serves as a Clinical Instructor at Nova Southeastern University, mentoring future physicians while remaining actively involved in academic medicine.
Dr. Rodriguez has participated as a Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator in numerous multicenter clinical trials evaluating innovative therapies for overactive bladder, benign prostatic hyperplasia, kidney stone disease, nocturia, urinary incontinence, and other urologic disorders. His extensive research experience, combined with his academic accomplishments and clinical expertise, enables him to successfully conduct complex clinical trials while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and scientific excellence.
